Thankful Tablescape Treats

Here is another great way to use your Thankful Tablescape Kit. I used the paper for the napkin holder and my Top Note Die Cut to create a bag topper.  Add your favorite candies and you have a nice gift for your friends.

Here is an idea I saw online. Cover a toilet tube with the birch paper and then stuff it with more candy of course!  Perhaps a few matchbox cars would work well too if you don't want to supply that much sugar in one sitting.  I hope you enjoyed these variations on the Thankful Tablescape kit. You still have time to order yours before Thanksgiving if you want to use it to decorate your table!

Here's a super simple card created with the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit. Remember to add a little color with your daubers to the pre-cut leaves. Then crumple them up to give them a little more texture.  The label is created with the Modern Label punch and the Lots of Thanks stamp set.

You still have time to order your Thankful Tablescape kits, and as you can see, they just aren't for decorating your Thanksgiving table. Shop now at www.HilarySmith.StampinUp.net.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit

Here are just a few things created with the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit. You still have time to order yours.  The kit includes enough materials to make ten place settings for your Thanksgiving Table along with some other items for decorations. However, if you don't need ten place settings, look at all the other fun things you can do with the materials. Yes, The birch paper is pretty awesome for scrapbooking too!

Table cards are an additional item in the kit. I modified mine to use as a place card. Face it, sometimes you want to pre-plan who sits next to each other.  By adding a photo rather than a written name, it can be come something you can add right to your scrapbook pages.

Over the next few days, I will share more of the projects in detail, but for now, just get your kit ordered!

Shop anytime at www.HilarySmith.StampinUp.net.  The kit is item 133463 priced at $19.95

Build a Banner Simply Created Kit

Have you seen the Build a Banner Simply Created kit in Stampin' Up's Holiday catalog?  Maybe you skipped over it thinking.... I am not going to make that.  Well why not? I confess I was a little intimidated, but then I kept seeing them here and there and jumped in. Wow - they really can be created in very little time.  I love that I can put whatever I want on the banner.

Here is what comes in the kit. (18 5x7" canvas pennants, alphabet and pattern stencils, 9' of twine, and a Stampin' Spritzer)

To clarify as well - the banner is not just paper, it is canvas so what you make will last a long time!  The stencils can be used for just about everything else you craft - cards, those wonderful Muslin Bags!  What great Christmas gifts when you personalize the gifts with the recipient's initials.

Still a little hesitant? Contact me to set up a private class, or invite a group of friends together to make banners.  It's a perfect way to celebrate the holidays together (and get your house decorated). Order yours today at www.HilarySmith.StampinUp.net or contact me at MightyOakStampers@yahoo.com to set up a banner party.
